Seek Help When Needed

There’s always someone who can help if you’re struggling. Whether it’s academic or more personal, there are lots of services at Lancaster to help you. Here at LUSU, we have our own Advice Service that can help you through any problems you’re facing entirely for free. The university also provides counselling and other wellbeing services.

Embrace the Weather

Dress in layers during the colder seasons and invest in a good waterproof jacket to brace against the rain. Rather than letting unpredictable weather dampen your mood, take advantage of it and adapt your activities around it. Feeling cold? Plan some stuff to do inside!

Engage with Your College

Getting involved with your college activities is a great way to meet new people and make friends. You’ll also be able to build a support network, helping you feel more integrated in the community.
