Where Can You Find LUSU?
You know who we are, what we do, and how we do it.
But there’s still one question we’ve yet to answer… where are we?
With so many officers, volunteers, staff, and even more students, we need a really decent place to centre all our LUSU stuff. So, it’s a really good job we have a big, spacious place for our students to go!
And, even better, it’s really easy to find too! All you have to do is find University House in the corner of Alexandra Square, walk up the stairs opposite the reception desk, turn left, and that corridor there? Walk right down until you find a really obvious door that leads to our Welcome Desk.
So obvious, you can’t miss it!

This is, of course, where the magic happens. Just past our spacious Welcome Desk decked out with beanbags and seating, you’ll find your Full-Time Officers working hard, plus some other teams within the union like LUSU Living.
And surprise! There’s a secret second floor (gasp)… up the stairs outside the Welcome Desk, you’ll find some offices where the rest of our teams work. Finance, comms, LUSU Green – we’re all hiding up there!
As you can see, lot’s goes on in this place to help students, from workshops to advice, so it’s a good job it’s really easy to find…
If you haven’t figured yet, we are being (lovingly) sarcastic. While we’d love to have a bigger space for our students to visit, get comfortable, and meet our staff much easier, that’s not what we have right now.
But we are lobbying for it! And we’re hoping that we can find ourselves a place on campus that you can call home.
So, watch this space (or lack thereof…)
