Summer Ball
With so much to do (from Societies, Sports, and much more) - time flies here in Lancaster – before you know it, you will be nearing the end of your academic year. But fear not, because we’ve got a real treat in store and it’s time to celebrate.
And as you should – whether you’ve just completed your first or your final year of university - we want to make sure you can celebrate Summer in style.
The Summer Ball is a huge student party that takes place at the end of the year, organised by us here at LUSU in collaboration with your fabulous colleges. It’s a huge celebration for you and your mates to make forever memories and send the year off in style.
Live Music
Be prepared to dance the night away to some incredible live acts. Last academic year, the lineup was full of nostalgic classics, blood pumping party anthems, and disco beats. From ABBA tributes to headliners like Professor Green, plus plenty of student bands, there’s lots for you to jam along with.
Plans are already underway for the 2025 Summer Ball – and it’s set to be bigger and better than ever!

The Summer Ball is a collaboration with us here at LUSU in partnership with your college JCR Execs and the Postgraduate Board. We wouldn’t be able to run the biggest party of the year without them!
