An Accessible Campus for You
Here at Lancaster, we want to make sure you feel at home and have what you need to have the experience you deserve.
Lancaster University has an incredibly diverse campus of students and staff alike. So, it’s important to us that every student here can access the resources they need to fulfil the potential we know they have.

Accessible Campus
Lancaster University have implemented best practice requirements all across campus in order to meet the needs of student and staff when using uni facilities. This includes an accessibility audit of campus in order to improve where it’s needed over the coming years. You can read more here.

ILSPs
ILSP = Inclusive Learning Support Plan.
These plans are uniquely designed for each student that needs one, by the university’s Disability Service. The plans provide a summary of your circumstances, as well as any reasonable adjustments you may need during your time as a student.
Your lecturers and other teaching staff have an obligation to try and meet the adjustments of your ILSP.

Disability and Inclusive Practice Service
The service works closely with staff across all aspects of the university to ensure that students have the support they need when coming to study here at Lancaster.
You can find the contact details for the service here.

Parking
You can apply for a parking permit on the grounds of a disability or long-term health condition.
More info is available here.
